For Christina Julsgaard, creativity has always been a natural part of life. As a child, ideas flowed to her almost effortlessly – clothing designs, drawings, songs and dance came as a constant stream of inspiration. She describes it as a channel she has always had access to.

“The ideas came to me as if they already existed somewhere and just needed to be retrieved. I never felt like I had to make an effort – it was just a part of me,” says Christina.

At the time, she didn't connect it with spirituality, but as she began to explore meditation, hypnosis, clairvoyance, and healing later in life, it became clear to her that this creative channel was part of something bigger.

“I always felt like I was born with a special creative connection, but it wasn't until I was an adult that I understood what it really meant,” she explains.

Through her education and experiences in sports, acting, music, therapy and spirituality, it became clear that her creative flow was deeply rooted in her spiritual journey.

“I discovered, in mid-life, that I could gather all my spiritual insights and creative dreams into art. It gave my life a new, deeper meaning,” she explains.

Colors as symbolism and energy
Today, this channel drives her art. Her works are more than just paintings; they are carriers of energy and symbolism, which she channels through the colors and shapes. Each color has its own meaning and purpose – some bring joy and energy, others create peace and balance. Together, they create a harmony that speaks to both the conscious and unconscious in the viewer.

“Colors are not just aesthetics for me. They are energy that can affect us on a deeper level. When we surround ourselves with the right colors, we feel joy, peace and energy – sometimes without fully understanding why,”
says Christina.

Christina's paintings convey more than meets the eye. When you live with her works, over time you begin to sense the special energy they radiate. They create a mood and affect the surroundings in a way that can feel healing. “Many people tell me that it is only after a while that they realize how the painting has affected them. It is a quiet transformation that happens over time,” she explains.

Art as a path to community and upliftment
Christina sees her paintings as a way to connect people. Her art is filled with contrasts – light and dark, masculine and feminine, control and chaos – but these very contrasts create balance and invite reflection. She wants to inspire and lift people, create joy and foster community.

“For me, it's about contributing. Art can do something special; it can bring us together and remind us of all that we have in common,” she says.

Her vision is to bring light and life into the homes and lives of others. Through the colors and energy of her works, she wants to create a space for joy, peace and contemplation.

“I hope that my art can be a kind of bridge between people – a way to create connections and share positive energy,” she says.
