2. Delivery terms

• Free delivery in Denmark : Smaller works and art posters are shipped free of charge with PostNord to the nearest parcel shop.
• Pickup : You can pick up orders at the studio at Århusgade 3, Copenhagen Ø, Monday to Friday between 10 am and 3:30 pm, by appointment only.
• Larger paintings : When ordering larger paintings that require shipping by general cargo, a shipping cost of DKK 800-1,200 is expected, depending on size and distance.
• International delivery : For deliveries outside Denmark, separate shipping costs will be calculated. Contact us for more information.
• Delivery time : Delivery time is typically 4-8 business days depending on order type and delivery address.

3. Order

• You can order works via the webshop or by sending an email to cj @cjulsgaard .dk .
• All prices on the website include Danish taxes and VAT. Orders outside the EU may be subject to local customs duties and VAT in the recipient country, which the customer will pay.
• Agreements are concluded in Danish, and we will resend order confirmations and invoices upon request.
• Certain works can also be purchased through selected galleries in Denmark and abroad, or directly via Christina Julsgaard's gallery at Århusgade 3 Copenhagen East or at art fairs in Denmark and abroad.
• Minimum age for ordering online is 15 years.

4. Order confirmation

Once we have received your order, we will send a binding order confirmation via email.

• If an item is out of stock, we will inform you as soon as possible via email or text message.
• The invoice is sent when the payment is registered and the item is shipped.

We recommend that you save both the order confirmation and the invoice.

5. Payment

• Approved payment cards: Dankort, VISA/Dankort, MasterCard and Visa Electron.
• Anyday : Payment in installments over four months without interest or fees. First payment is deducted when the item is shipped. Read more at Anyday's terms and conditions .

6. Security

We use encryption to securely process your payment information. Personal data is stored securely and is not shared with third parties.

7. Right of complaint

As a consumer, you have a 24-month right of complaint on all goods, including works of art, according to the Danish Sales of Goods Act. The right of complaint applies to errors or defects that were present at the time of purchase, but only become apparent later.

The complaint must be justified, and the defect must not be due to incorrect handling, storage or placement, such as exposure to extreme sunlight. In the event of a justified complaint, we can cover reasonable return costs by agreement.

What does the right of complaint cover?

The right of complaint covers:

• Hidden errors or defects that were not visible at the time of purchase (e.g. material defects or technical defects).
• Note that Christina Julsgaard's works often contain clear effects such as crackles, matte and glossy layers, which are an integral part of abstract art and part of the character of the work.

The right of complaint does not cover:

• Conditions that were pointed out or clearly stated at the time of purchase ("bought as seen").
• Damage caused by improper handling, storage or use after purchase.
• Aesthetic preferences, if you later regret your choice of artwork.

Unique works of art

Since unique works of art cannot be replaced with similar goods, a justified complaint will usually lead to either repair or refund, depending on the situation.

Bought as seen

If a work of art is sold as "as is," and all visible conditions have been disclosed and accepted upon purchase, the right of complaint will normally not include these conditions.

To ensure clarity when selling

We do our best to:

1. Describe the condition of the work clearly and distinctly before purchase.
2. Inform about any special conditions or "bought as seen" clauses.
3. Comply with the right to complain about hidden defects and deficiencies in accordance with applicable legislation.

The right of complaint is stipulated by the Danish Sales Act and cannot be waived. If you have any questions or need help, you are always welcome to contact us.

8. Right of withdrawal (Online)

• You have a 14-day full right of withdrawal when purchasing online.
• The item must be returned in substantially the same condition and quantity with the invoice.
• Return costs are paid by the customer.

9. Right of withdrawal (Personal purchase)

When purchasing unique works directly from the studio, exhibitions or galleries, there is no right of withdrawal.

10. Uncollected goods

If an order is not picked up and returned to us, this is considered a full return.

11. Shipping and damage during transport

• Orders are sent as private packages with PostNord. A receipt is required upon receipt.
• If the item is damaged during transport, we will be contacted immediately for a solution.

12. Privacy Policy

Cookies and their function
At https://www.christinajulsgaard.dk we use cookies, which are small text files that are stored on your device. Cookies help us ensure that the webshop functions properly and make it possible to remember your actions, such as which items you have put in your shopping cart and how you navigate the site.

• Payment information is always processed encrypted, while other customer information is not transmitted encrypted.

Disclosure of data
We never share or sell your information to third parties. We only record the data necessary to process your order and provide the best possible customer service.

Your rights
As a customer, you have the following rights in relation to the information we register about you:

• You can at any time request insight into what information we have registered about you.
• You have the right to have your information corrected or deleted if desired.
• You can object to us processing your data.

By purchasing, you automatically agree to be subscribed to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe via a link in the newsletter.

15. Choice of law

Any disputes will be settled in accordance with Danish law.
