Description of the work
Blue Room is a sensual and detailed abstract work, where soft shapes and intense color fields merge into a visual space filled with energy and curiosity. The work balances the poetic with the explosive – like a moment frozen in motion. The composition suggests a kind of inner architecture, where layers of thoughts, emotions and movements intersect in a living interplay. Every line and color surface seems to be in dialogue, and the whole invites contemplation and free interpretation.
Description of the colors
The colors range from cool blue-gray and mint tones to warm pinks, limes and peaches. Sharp neon red and black details act as visual anchor points, creating rhythm and contrast in the composition. The tactile elements – with clear brush marks and layered effects – give the work both depth and movement. The green field in the lower left corner acts as a surprising contrast, challenging the calm color field and giving the work edge.
Materials
- Acrylic on canvas: Created with multiple layers of acrylic and different techniques, which create both softness and structure.
- Frame: The painting is stretched on a 3.8 cm deep frame, which gives it a solid and modern look.
- Size: 80 x 80 cm – a square shape that is perfect for both smaller rooms and large wall surfaces.
